Advisors

Erich Kussman has been teaching English at the Bound Brook High School for four years. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education. In his free time he loves to read, write, travel, and spend time in nature. 

​Marian Stewart has been teaching music at Bound Brook High School for 13 years.  She also served as the  Assistant Director of Bands at The College of New Jersey, as well as adjunct faculty at both Rutgers University and Rider University. Additionally, Dr. Stewart’s teaching experience includes 8 years as a high school band director.  Dr. Stewart has been published in SBO Magazine, and was a staff writer for The Brass Herald Magazine.  She authored a chapter about composer, Jennifer Higdon in Volume Five of A Composer’s Insight: Thoughts, Analysis and Commentary on Contemporary Masterpieces for the Wind Band. She was conductor of The Manhattan Wind Ensemble, a NYC based community ensemble, for their 2008-2009 season, and frequently serves as a clinician for high school students throughout New Jersey.  Dr. Stewart holds a bachelor of music from The College of New Jersey.  She received her Master of Music degree and Doctor of Musical Arts degree in wind conducting from Rutgers University.

Elizabeth Jaeger teaches English at Bound Brook High School. Before that she taught writing at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has published essays and short stories in various literary magazines both in print and online. Her debut memoir Stolen: Love and Loss in the Time of COVID-19 was published by Unsolicted Press. She holds a masters degree in education from New York University, a masters degree in history from William Paterson University, and an MFA in creative writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. When she isn't teaching or writing she loves traveling, taking long road trips, and escaping into nature to hike.
